Job Title: US GAAP Accountant (2–4) Years Experience)
Shift : 5 PM - 3 AM (IST)
Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior US GAAP Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and tax-related activities. The role involves working in a US accounting environment using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior US GAAP Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and tax-related activities. The role involves working in a US accounting environment using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Assist in month-end close activities
- Support tax-related work (basic US taxation, sales tax, documentation)
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist in preparing reports for internal review
- Coordinate with the Senior Accountant for reviews and corrections
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance)
- 2–4 years of experience in US accounting / US GAAP environment
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory)
- Basic understanding of **Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong knowledge of:
- Journal entries
- Reconciliations
- AP/AR processes
- Exposure to taxation (basic level)
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience working with US-based clients or accounting processes
- Exposure to sales tax / payroll accounting / compliance support
- Familiarity with any ERP/accounting tools (in addition to QuickBooks)
- Ability to execute tasks accurately under guidance
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Willingness to learn and grow in US accounting domain
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to work in US shift
